וַיְהִ֣י בִשְׁמוֹנִ֣ים שָׁנָ֣ה וְאַרְבַּ֣ע מֵא֣וֹת שָׁנָ֡ה לְצֵ֣את בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל מֵאֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַיִם֩ בַּשָּׁנָ֨ה הָרְבִיעִ֜ית בְּחֹ֣דֶשׁ זִ֗ו ה֚וּא הַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י לִמְלֹ֥ךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּ֥בֶן הַבַּ֖יִת לַיהוָֽה׃
און עס איז געװען, אין פֿיר הונדערט און אַכציקסטן יאָר נאָך דעם װי די קינדער פֿון ישׂראל זײַנען אַרױסגעגאַנגען פֿון לאַנד מצרים, אין פֿירטן יאָר פֿון שלמהס מלוכה איבער ישׂראל, אין חודש זיו–דאָס איז דער צװײטער חודש–האָט ער אָנגעהױבן בױען דאָס הױז צו גאָט.
II Chronicles
And he began to build in the second month [(Iyyar)] on the second [day] in the fourth year of his reign.
Ezra
And in the second year of their coming to the house of G-d, to Jerusalem, in the second month [(Iyyar)], they began [(the building of the Temple)] — Zerubavel the son of She'altiel and Yeshua the son of Tzaddok and the rest of their brothers, the priests and the Levites and all who had come from the captivity to Jerusalem. And they set up the Levites, from twenty years and older, to officiate [(in song)] at the building of the house of the L-rd.
